Hi, I’m Surell – the face behind Rells Photography.

 

I’m a wedding and newborn photographer based in Lichfield, capturing natural, heartfelt moments across Staffordshire and the Midlands.

 

Photography has never been about perfect poses for me. It’s about preserving the little moments you’ll treasure years from now—the nervous smiles before “I do”, the squeeze of a tiny newborn hand, and the laughter that happens when nobody realises the camera is there.

 

As a mum myself, I know just how quickly life changes. That’s one of the reasons I fell in love with photography. Moments pass in the blink of an eye, but photographs let us hold onto them forever.

 

Before starting Rells Photography, I spent two years photographing newborn babies in NHS maternity wards, often within hours of them entering the world. That experience taught me not only how to work safely and gently with newborns, but how to stay calm, patient and reassuring for new parents too.

 

Whether I’m documenting your wedding day or welcoming your newest family member, my aim is always the same—to create a relaxed experience where you can simply be yourselves while I capture the memories you’ll look back on for decades to come.
